It also didn't help that you closed in the middle of a month.

our closing costs were about 1300 + prepaids (inspections and apprasials) this was after a 6% seller assist.

So the offer went in on Monday and still no word from the Re-location company that has it listed. I guess our agent was right when he said that it may take a couple of days to hear something. How long did you guys have to wait for an accepted offer or a counter?

Counter just came back at 215,000 so we are going to offer 203,500 and se what happens.

They also have 1500 towards closing and 2000.00 for minor repairs in the deal as well.

*******UPDATE*************

The Reloc. company accepted the offer and we close Feb 29th! I am sooo excited and relieved that they accepted. I talked to our guy and apparently there was a couple that was thinking about writing an offer yesterday at the open house but we beat them to the punch. From what I understand the only way we can "loose" the house is if our financing falls through which I can't see happening as the wifey has gone to full time work since we started this whole process. I am looking forward to a good nights sleep after a long and stressful weekend (Packer game and waiting on the Reloc company to get back to us)
