Default Cordless Power tools

What do you guys think on the new lithium powered tools out there? It seems to be the new craze and the tools seem to be a lot lighter.

I kind of want to get a set but I am unsure of which one to go with.

Ryobi - I love them. They are cheap, but well crafted. ALL of my cordless gear is Ryobi and its backwards compatible meaning the new lithium batteries fit my current gear.

Ditto... All of my cordless gear is Ryobi one+... I don't have the lithium batteries yet though... My regulars last FOREVER Though... I have the Sawzall, impact gun, drill, flashlight, & SkilSaw.. One of these days I'm going to buy the Chainsaw just to see how it works lol...

They are the ABSOLUTE best Bang for the buck. I did 3 walls of my son's bedroom drywall using 2 1/2" Drywall screws (I didnt know I could use 1" lol) on 1 battery...

I have a lot of Ryobi corded tools.
I was kind of looking at the Black and Decker VPX system but there is a lack of tools like a circular saw.

hmm I will have to look into them then. I guess I always had the impression that black and decker and ryobi were "lower grade" than the other brands. Do they have a cordless impact driver like milwaukee, bosch and dewalt?

I have the Cordless Impact Driver from Ryobi... its 3/8" drive... I bring it to AutoX with me... That is the one tool that eats batteries though... I break the lugs loose with a breaker bar, then spin them off with the impact gun... Then I use the impact gun to zip them on, then torque them... because the impact gun goes to about 60 lb/ft... Its not the best, but it definitely works... Would probably work great on square head deck screws or something like that...

I was more looking for a keyless 1/4" hex drive. Do they have one of those? has anyone used it?

Black and Decker is horrific when it comes to tools. Every single B&D tool I've owned lasted maybe 2 uses.

Yeah it is hard to believe they are behind the DeWalt brand isn't it?
