Default Discover Card problems

So I have a zero interest CC that is coming up on its end with Bank of America... So I decide to try and find another card to roll it into... I find that Discover has good offers... So I apply... and in my application, i put the balance transfer amount that I want... Hit submit... SWEEET! APPROVED!

Get my card in the mail a few days later... My credit limit is 1/3 of what the balance transfer is for... I'm like WTF!? Why did it say approved? I call, and they are like "oh yeah, you are approved for X. I see you want to do a balance transfer of X*3, but because of your credit limit we cant do that. Would you still like to transfer X from your other bank onto this one?"

So I say no, cancel the card, and you have now FUCKED my credit because now i just opened a CC and closed it for no reason... GREAT...

I wonder if i can get a no interest extension on my current card...

FUCK DISCOVER CARD. FUCK THEM IN THEIR STUPID ASSES.

discover is really low on credit limits. I've had a discover card since i was 18 pretty much. i think i got it with a $500 limit back then. today its up to a whopping $4300.

my chase mastercard i got when i was like 21 started at $1000 and today i have a $25,000 limit on it. lol

Thats ironic... because my ex wife had a chase card with $2k... would not raise her limit... Discover on the other hand CONSTANTLY raises her limit... I got a notice in the mail a few months ago adressed to her, and not paying attention opened it thinking it was junk mail, and saw they upped her limit to $15,000... Which amazes me because she cant make more than $30k/year... And probably owes them like 10k already...

State Farms' Visa can suck my sack too. The more I use it, the more my minimum payment goes up. It randomly jumps up from 60, to 90, to 115 to 150.

You have a variable rate based on the prime rate.
