| jeef | I bought my new 40" Sony Bravia lcd 4 weeks ago at Tweeter. They had the lowest price on this tv until yesterday. I found it at Circuit Shitty for 200 less than I paid. So I go into Tweeter to get my price adjustment. I am looking around at their clearance table and see a Polk Audio center channel on clearance for $198 marked down from $399.99. The only thing is it is Cherry where the rest of my speakers have a black cabinet. I don't mind since it will be basically hidden by the entertainment center I want to build. So basically I went into get a $200 credit and walkout with 2 bucks in my pocket and a $400 center channel. It was basically free. If I wanted to spend some more money they had a $1200 receiver for $500. The center channel is huge but it sounds damn good. I like that I can put it on the floor and have it angled up. This is a huge help since it won't fit on the current stand. Here is the link CSi5 Product Page : A high performance dedicated Center Channel Speaker, with reversible-aim cabinet and stability KickStand for shallow-depth TVs. : Polk Audio . I can finally move over old center channel so my system in the office will now have a center channel. I will try to get some pics sometime. |
