neat idea for the water heater... under the stiars, out of the way, not taking up space

Thanks, I couldnt think of any other place but under the stairs. Attic was an option but just went the easy way out. Less pipe to run.

I seriously dont follow your question.

But to try and answer it. No the CrawlSpace is not being used as a basement. Or is has a crawlspace and not a basement. The crawlspace is 24".

I just so happened to be walking around in lowes and found the same ol' 12x12 ceramic tile (the $0.78sqft tile)and it was marked down to $0.58sq ft. They had 3 pallets left. I grabbed a floor manager and offered $0.48/sq ft and I will take all 3 pallets. He said thats fine, I said but, I want 10% off everything I am buying as well (I had a 300.00 tile saw, 25 bags of thinset, 8 bags of grout, and a bunch of tools.) He aggreed. So I go to check out, I had to get 2 pallets delivered to the shop, and one loaded on the van. The woman that was ringing me up, gave me the additional 10% discount on the .48sqft tile as well. So I was like .44 cent tile FTW !

So Thursday, Friday, and Saturday I layed and grouted some cheap tile.

Its looks pretty good so far. The tile in the bath tub along on back wall (the long wall) looks a little sloppy. Some of the lines do no match, it looks wierd with how both ends have cuts.
