Default Looking to get some feedback on my website

I just created this mama jamma, been working on it for 2 days now and still no where near done. I never made a website before but I can only guess what info is needed. Since I am looking to expand the business and start bidding on larger jobs. I felt the website would help promote the company. I am really just trying to get some feedback as to you as a home owner, would you call after looking at the site? I know its not finished but I am in a stuck postition, really wanting some feedback before I continue.

Here it the site
http://www.candlewoodconstruction.org

Good or bad feedback is welcome.

Thanks in advance,
Jay

A couple of things. First your headings have a mix of capitalized words and not capitalized words. Second I was impressed until I saw the pictures of the ower (caveman) that would have turned me off from the site. Also what is with the random capitalized words throughout your site example is Construction in your bio. It is not a proper noun therefore shouldn't have a capital C to start out. There are others in your testimonials and kitchen/bath remodel sections as well. In the contact us section you have a mix of caps and non caps that didn't make sense to me. For example look at your addy why is the last line in all caps?

Otherwise looks good.

Lol, def not non-profit. The .com was taken so I bought the .net domain a while back and forgot my password and name to the host server I used a while back. I have it now and will be switching over to .net soon. No sense in really publishing it until I get it done.

Yeah I see what your talking about, looks like I have some typos to fix. I guess its a shift key addiction. lol

Oh, the CAVEMAN. My partner which really isnt an owner, but just more like an employee that has a small piece of the pie? I call him the caveman, and I didnt have a good close up picture of him so I googled Caveman and found the one you see now. I more did it as a joke to him. That wont be the pic that stays.

Thanks for the feedback and I will get back on fixing it up.

I would still go with a .com.

99% of people type .com as habit.

try something else,

like

candlewoodhomeimprovement.com (but thats too long)
candlewoodbuilders.com
candlewoodva.com

Also, the "caveman" is a registered trademark of Geico, I'd take it down ASAP.

Im not to concerned with it. Im not calling it a caveman. I am calling him Kenn stamps. But I get what your saying. When I get a pic of him I will get it up there, I got candlewoodconstruction.net up and going and I will be getting a bunch more 301's. I have learned quite a bit about web building in the last week. So I just need to put it to use and update this mamma jamma.

I have a friend in Geico, I will ask him and see what he says. Prob the same thing you said...loll

park the other domains on your main, and in root htaccee of main domain, use the following: (assuming your on apache)
Code:
RewriteEngine On

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^maindomain\.com
RewriteRule (.*) http://maindomain.com/$1 [L,R=301]
that will put all non-main domain .com's on the real maindomain.com
