Default Trellis Clear Roof System

Last year My dad and I built a trellis with a large over hang that goes back onto the roof. It is very large and built tough. We built it with 3x10's for the "joists" and 4x12 with dual runners for the beams and 6x6" for the posts. It's approximately 20ft long by 14 ft wide. We did everything 24 OC and it is pitched 15degrees back to the house over the existing roof.

We had plans on contracting out a glass company and putting a glass system on top last year but we ended up running out of time because this was a weekend project after work (siding contractors) and we had a long trip in hawaii. When we got back we decided against using glass because it's under trees and branches fall all the time and we don't want to risk having to clean up tempered glass everywhere.

Now, its time to start on it as the rainy season has passed, and we need to get a roof on it while its still dry. We've done some research and all the roof systems we've found including most GE-Lexan roof systems cannot be cantilevered. We'd really like to cantilever it out an additional 12" on each side so we get maximum coverage and we'd like to use something that is in like 4ft sheets and not 3 foot sheets so we can avoid waste.

Anyone have any idea of any products out there that are cost effective and easily attainable?

We're avoiding this style right now....

But we'd like something like this that goes a bit over the ends and gets maximum coverage.

I do not know about the GE system you spoke about that uses lexan.

I work for a sign company installing signs. Lexan is not good for situations where it is left clear because it will yellow. Other than that it is a great material. Plexiglas will not yellow.
You can get Plexiglas pretty thick i belive I have seen it up to 1".
