Default Easier than I thought it'd be.

I finally got around to putting on the new switches for my bathroom lights. lol Only took me a full hour to do the three switches, got them mounted into my pre-wire blue box even. Then I actually hooked them up correctly the first time. Not bad for not knowing what I'm doing.

electrical stuff is pretty easy until you get into complex switches, or actually tapping into the panel it self for a new run. it's just real intimidating

Yeah I have some runs in the basement for a light and a switch, I'm not going to be touching the main breaker box.

Now I'm trying to figure out how to replace some outlets that are on the old knob and tube wiring.

Yesterday I picked up a new GFCI outlet for my bathroom in white so I decided to hook it up tonight. Flipped all my breakers and went up, hooked it up one for one from the old outlet, flipped the breakers back on and it didn't work. shit.

Hit reset, it trips. shit.

unplugged my radio (using it to test which breaker it was), hit reset and it freaking worked! I'm a junior electrician! not.

haha Now I just have to figure out the knob and tube shit.
