Default Bathroom floor.

Well I need to replace my bathroom floor in my second floor bathroom.

So prior to this weekend I had a duct vent coming out on the floor of my bathroom directly in front of my vanity/sink area. So when I would be brushing my teeth I had to stand on a hot duct.

Well I am remodeling my first floor bathroom and this gave me the opportunity to fix this. So I rerouted the duct to the wall, I put a Y on it too so I am able to run another duct to my bedroom.

Well I ripped out the old duct and I patched the floor. I still need to do a little bit more in terms of patching it. I want to get the oter duct ran while I have all the tools out for it before I do the floor.

I have never done flooring. I would a wood look, It doesnt have to be real wood but I want it to hold up in the bathroom. It is not permanent, because I plan on updating the bathroom after the other bathroom is done. I do not even plan on pulling up the base boards and tucking it under because I have too much other stuff to do. I will just put trim down around the border.

So what type of wood (looking) floor can I use in a bathroom. I do not want to put lamanite flooring back down.

nearly everything 'looking' is a laminite. pergo is popular, looks like wood, but it's a laminate, but it installs piece by peice like a hardwood floor does. pretty cheap to .80-$1 a sq foot is common.

Well I wanted to update. I rerouted my duct, patched the floor. Covered it up with Pergo brand floor and put the PVC trim around it. I followed the instructions It turned out pretty well but not perfect. I am a perfectionist when it comes to my own work.

New
Paint
Med cabinet
Towel Rack
TP holder
Curtain rod and curtain
Door knob

I plan on chancing the Faucet but I need to buy one but I need to paint the ceiling and trim next.
