Some of that looks like it is from years of hard water... Does the house have a softener? Salt Tank?

well, i've lived here my whole life... from my parents house to my condo to this house... they are all on the same water supply... i think its just years and years of neglect. you should see the black mold i scrapped off the doors tonight. i didn't take a pic of it, but its gross.

I wanted to just get a new door, but no one frigging sells em in my size.

this is the only one i could find in my size:
KOHLER Focal Pivot Shower Door With Obscure Glass, 38 In. - 40 In. x 65 In. In Bright Silver - 701248-B-SH at The Home Depot

and its out of stock.

go figure.

pricey too

Go to Home Depot and talk to the person in bathrooms... If you measure the door, they can special order it for you.

Just get some CLR it takes it right off. And its from Calcium in the water.

Bristol has many sources for water (most of it actually comes from New Britain) and is full of minerals...
