Rep Power: 10  |  First Ever HomeModders.com Contest! Yup, a contest  To enter, it's easy. all you need to do is refer people here to contribute to the forums. Contest starts NOW and ends Dec 1st 2007 at 00:00:01 EST (aka, the last second of november is the last event that counts) During the first week of December, I will tally the results, and the winner will receive a $150 gift card to Home Depot. (if no home depot is available in winners' area, alternatives can be made... such as lowes, or even something like walmart or target). All you have to do is refer active people here. Go to your profile like you would another user's (ie, don't go to the user CP... click on their name on a post instead). In there, you will find your referral link. OLD: Quote:
Here's how it works: Referral: 1 point for every 20 posts that user makes, add 1 point, to a max of 5 points. Essentially, you can gain 6 points per user you refer who has at least 100 posts at midnight on dec 1st. all posts must be "constructive". LOL posts and smilies to gain post counts will not count. This is certainly a grey area, but if it comes down to a tie or something, this will come into play to reveal the true winner. This contest is open to everyone and anyone. new and old members. start telling your friends about us, post about this site on your blog or myspace, link to us with the referral in your signature on other forums you participate on, etc. With such a small userbase right now, you essentially have a 1 in 30 chance of winning  SPAMMING WILL NOT BE TOLLERATED. Do not send un-solicited emails out. Contest is sponsored by yours truely. Maybe in the future, some company will help out (hint hint) Get referring!
