Default Problem after problem...

So I've been dealing with a running toilet for a while now... well today I got sick of running after the fucking bastard so I figured out the problem and fixed it.

Toilet; BRAND FUCKING NEW. The float valve was operated by a thin metal pole connected to it by a metal clip. The pole had a flat spot that the clip was supposed to sit on top of. Well to fix it me and my dad pulled it off that flat spot.

Well now it floats up and down teh pole. When it fills up, it overflows into the bowl fill up tube.

So what did I do? $9.98 later I bought a new float and valve.

Problem one: it was too short. it wouldn't fill up after a flush because of the tub it was sitting in didn't lose any water. (dual chambers)

So I pull it out and notice a plastic ring that held them together.

Solution: I pulled the plastic ring off and the longer fill inlet valve off the old float and put it on the new float, adjusted the level, hooked it all back up and I have a fucking toilet that doesn't goddamn run.

Problem two: Washing machine doesn't spin. It's old. It got off balance.

Aside from paying money to have it repaired; I think it's time I invest in a washer/dryer combo.

ANY recommendations?

Maytag - 3.2 Cu. Ft. 6-Cycle Super Capacity Washer - White-on-White - MTW5630TQ

Maytag perhaps? Won't be a problem paying this off if I can get financing with deferred interest.

Home depot has the same one at the same price.

Here's a GE, 60 bucks cheaper;

GE GEĀ® 3.2 Cu. Ft. Super Capacity Washer - WDSR2080GWW at The Home Depot

Just got done hooking up the Maytag 3.2 Cu Ft brand spanking new washer.

This thing is probably twice the size of my old washer.

New appliances eventually pay for themselves in their energy savings over old appliances. Even though it costs money now, you will see a couple bucks here and there coming off from using it.

Yeah, I hope so. I don't know the power rating of my old washer, but this one is done in 20 minutes so I like it already.

I just hope the dryer don't crap out on me cause I don't want to buy new one yet. This one works just fine.
