Default Plans for the winter?

So, what's on your list to do over the next couple months when its colder?

Me,

I'm planning to re-paint the whole inside, as well as remove some wallpapered areas.
Add some window treatments
debating between going hardwood or just a new carpet in the formal living room, and pull the tile in the kitchen in favor of hardwood as well.
finally, i'd like to get all new appliances... full stainless. my dishwasher is f'in loud as hell and annoying. the over-range microwave doesn't work. the fridge.... i hate it. the double doors side by side just isn't working. the fridge door opens into the adjacent wall. I need a left hand side door to the fridge... so i want the big double top fridge one with the bottom freezer drawer type. Samsung has some dope appliances. i'm really thinking i'm going with them.

SAMSUNG RF267AARS/XAA french door-refrigerators

they don't have any ranges or washers though so matching it is going suck. i dunno.

Hopefully I can get my bathroom done, still need a few pieces of drywall but had no way to get it here. (short of paying 20 bucks to rent a truck from HD)

But I'm getting a new work van which should be large enough for some 4x8x1/2 drywall.

Then hopefully we can get it mudded and painted. I'd like to get the downstairs painted also, lots of sanding before that happens though.

Well, it depends... I have 2 choices (Both $$ depending)...

A. Redo the bathroom. New Tile, New Vanity, New Toilet, New Sink, New Medicine Cabinet, and New Window (The part that makes it difficult in the winter)...

B. Redo the living room. My sister is getting new couches, and I want her old ones... But with my current setup, there isn't really room... So I would have to buy a flatscreen TV... But if I buy my Flatscreen, I need to put it above the fireplace.. Which mean I need to run cable/elec through that wall, which I would have to redo the drywall to do because of its location... Then if I'm redoing that wall, I might as well redo all the walls to remove the wainescoating... But if I'm redoing the drywall, I need to replace the windows before I do that so I only have to do it once... But to do the windows the way I want, I'll need to move my electrical box out of the living room and into the garage.... But I dont have a garage... Which means I'd have to build that too...

So I guess Choice A. will probably be this winter...

1) Finish the game room; tear down all wood coverings except for ceiling. Reroute electrical and add ability for sconces. Drywall. Replace register (baseboard) covers. Trim work. Install projector and pull down screen (in ceiling). Paint. Build bar top around the room and install wine cooler/bar shelves in cubby.

2) Possible kitchen renovation, still planning this though

3)Moving washer/dryer into new utility room in the basement

I'm adding sconces to the walls between the windows. 86 the "ability" don't know why I put that there.
