not really.... the house is mint. i'd eat off the floor

i'm thinking an addition sometime in the future... the bedrooms are tiny and i'd like to make it a 3 car garage with a master suit over it, and then blowing out the wall to the current 2nd and 3rd bedrooms and making them one room.

but thats years down the road, if i even still own it.

the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are atrociously small. good for a baby/small child, and thats about it.
the master is no picnic either, but its big enough i guess.

the floor plan is kinda wack. there's 2 living rooms, plus a finished basement that could be a living room as well.

here's some pics form MLS

Master:
Backyard:

dining room looking into main level living room in the back (and yes, that wallpaper is the first thing coming down... lol)
another shot of the main level living room

kitchen

lower level living room with slider to back yard
2nd bedroom

finsihed basement
the pimp deck wrap around

I like it, I think it looks great !! Are you a family man or just by your self ?

What was the major selling point to buy ?

single, no kids.

lol

a buddy of mine is moving in and renting a room from me, and probably in a couple months or so the g/f might move in if things keep going well (we've only been together a couple months, so its too early for that yet)

i looked at close to 40 houses.

I had one under deposit, and i was waiting for my condo to sell under hubbard. they ended up getting another offer with no hubbard clause so they dropped my offer. 2 days later my condo sold.

so here i was, condo sold, and no house to move into.

i toured so many hosues. it's amazing how much junk there is in the 300-350 range. some people are crazy. i wouldn't offer 200 for a couple of the places i saw wanting 350. dirty, broken, unmaintained, spider webs, kitty litter all over the place, you name it.

it was down to this one and another slightly older raised ranch with a dope pool.

after a long debate with myself, i ruled the pool out as too much work for something i won't hardly ever use.

this house is nice and quite... its at the end of a culde sac with only 5 houses on it

oh,

major selling point is that its clean as hell (you can tell just from the carpets in the pics... they vacuumed like its a golf course), quiet 'hood, on the good corner of town, and close to everything but the g/f. and well, thats her problem. she still lives at home, she so always drives to my place to stay over or hang out. lol

Well one thing you can see from the pictures that the house was well maintained. The house I am buying was not.

So the major selling point was the Best Option. Good call IMO from the pics.
