It's an original wall in the house. Not sure if it's load bearing or not.

i'd leave it.

it won't gain you much space anyway, and ahving a main level bathroom no matter the size is always a good thing

Maybe look into putting in a low profile or tankless toilet or something to hug it closer to the wall and increase "space" in the room...

It was clean, but the sink was in need of repair so we pulled it, then we discovered the tiles were coming off, so in order to repair that we had to pull the ones off and degrout the wall so we can regrout the wall and put the tiles back on.

Hadn't thought of that. I don't know if it'd work or not since the plumbing comes straight through the floor.
