Rep Power: 5 | welp...I bitched at the owner of the company doing the work...and he even looked at the job and was like...damn...they did a crappy job. so they are coming out and fixing the un-even cuts on the over hangs, fixing the warp-ly installed side drip strips, re-taring the chimney, re-doing the ridges and valleys to appear better.... And the window thread will start next week. |

Rep Power: 5 | When's the siding being done? Do you know what manufacturer of siding it is? Is it the insulation backed (molded to the back of the siding) or is it going to be foam board, then siding? Anyways, glad you are getting the roof straightened out. Hopefully he'll keep to his word and you won't have to write Blumenthal another letter

Rep Power: 0 | Always look in the attic as part of the roofing estimate. If you had done an attic inspection, you would have known about the new sheathing. The price wouldn't have changed, but you wouldn't have been surprised. It's one thing to add for stuff you couldn't have forseen .... but new sheathing is forseeable.
