Default New Bathroom

Been a while and i've gotten some stuff done so i wanted to post.

Rebuilt my bathroom, it was just hurting too bad to let it go, when i started getting small green plant sprouts coming out of my drywall in there i figured it was time to act. Here goes.

Old junk

The tear down:

New Toilet and sink

Yes i know i "technically" lowered the value of my house by taking out a tub in place for a shower, but the basement bathroom is on deck for getting a triangle jacuzzi tub. So i figure it balances out. And if i were moving in, i'd much rather have new stuff than what was there. Plus tubs are over rated. Who takes baths other than old people and babies.

So thats that. The floors will be redone as well. I'm thinking slate tile.

The finished wall is one piece of acrylic so these are like super sticky adhesive strips/shims so when i used the heating element to bend the walls i just stuck them right up then caulked and sealed since you cant sink any screws or fasteners through the acrylic.

well laminate for lack of a better word, its not laminate at all its acrylic but yeah sorta kinda the same concept. The cool thing with the acrylic is there are no open corners, no place for water to get into. Its all one piece.

It's gorgeous, simple. Very nice, I haven't gotten that far with my bathroom yet.
