Default bought a lawnmower and a snowblower :D

yay! toys.

lol

went to sears hardware, and they had some pretty good deals on lawnmowers and snowblowers... so i bought one of each

$269

Craftsman 6.50 Torque Rating (190CC) 22 in. Deck 3-n-1 Mulch-Bag-Discharge Rear Bag Mower - Model 37672 at Sears.com

and i picked up the biggest snowblower they had in stock. don't need the 14hp one anyway

9hp 28" cut
3 yr full extended warranty

Craftsman 9 hp Gas Snow Thrower - Model 31AS6HEG799 at Sears.com

$799

and since i got the extra warranty, i actually got a better deal at the store that i would have online (plus shipping)

so, tomorrow, i need to buy a gas can lol and start up the lawn mower and do my leaves.

blower didn't come with oil, so i need to get some before i fire that up (obviously) but the mower did.

they didn't have any chains, so i need to score a set of those, and then i'll be golden

Your mower has 1" bigger radius than mine, but my yard is so small I went with the cheapest I could, 150 bucks for mine.

I do need to get a snow blower though... it's going to suck with this long ass driveway this year.

Unless my neighbor uses his bobcat to clear it. lol

they are all 21 or 22 for the most part until you get into a rider.

wait... Don't you have a decent sized yard? and a decent sized driveway? Why not buy a rider with a plow? Would have cost you about $100 more.

Because I'm not spending 600 bucks on a rider and 200 on a plow when my neighbor has a bobcat. lol

Lot is 150x40, the driveway goes the length (150'), and is about 10 foot wide so I have 30' of yard in the front and the rest is driveway/house/garage.

Edit: my dumbass thinking about everything else going on in my life just realized that you were talking to B. LOL

riders are in the 3k range once you get attachements. the 1800 price usually includes a cutting deck, and thats it.
300 for baggers
500 for plow attachemnts
etc etc

18hp 42" Poulan Pro Like I have was $899... (I actually got it for 800 thanks to Home Depot 10% off) EXACT SAME as the craftsman (Same Part Numbers even).. With a deck, w/ mulching blade option...

The craftsman version (What Clayton has)... Is $999...
Craftsman 17.5 hp 42 in. Deck, LT 2000 Lawn Tractor

Sears item# 07128703000 Mfr. model# 28703

Then the bagger (I still dont use one... Maybe next year i'll actually buy one) is $299
Craftsman 6 Bushel 2 - Bin Soft Bagger for 42" Deck

Sears item# 07124891000 Mfr. model# 24891

And its weird that they dont list it... But the Blade for my tractor was $199 or $299.. Don't remember which... I think it was $299 for the 42" blade... Then I scored a set of weights & chains from ebay for $50.

I have a JD 112 (free, Robyne's grandfathers) that I picked up a used Deere blade and mount on ebay for 125/shipped.

I'm a complete redneck now
