Default Part two...The windows...

They showed up at 9:00am on the dot this morning...and they are almost done with all the windows on the second floor. Just two old guys...working away and doing a great job.

This project is 20 windows installed by a contractor...and I'll have to do a few in the basement...and then two doors myself. I'll snag some pics later...

Yeah... I cant wait to do the rest of the windows in my house... Its AMAZING what just the two windows in one bedroom did.. I have seen a 2-3 degree increase in temps in that room already...

This house is going to rock for a few years...it's going to be a shame to sell it...and the wife has already fell in love with the new look....so I think we're going to stay here for a while.

at least until the flipping market picks up again...which should be soon since the interest rates are dropping.

looking good! you'll surely notice a huge savings in your heating bill this year comapred to last year.

at the end of the season (april?) you should whip out your old bills and compare.

I already noticed that 2 nights in the house...I didn't hear the heater kicking on as much...and it is warm as hell....

Plus...they are almost done with the porch....the last other windows for the house they knocked out this morning.

Now for my next trick...I got to hit that last ugly door on the back porch, replace it, add a storm door, and try to find something matchable for the front storm door....

then the wife wants me to laminate the floor on the porch...

anyways....
