Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Took many many weekends and after work hours to do, but it moved right along in a month. Enjoy the renovation pictures. ![]() ![]() ![]() Tub plumbing ![]() What I did to fix it at first. It worked well, except the part coming off before the trap was still leaking, I thought it was my part. ![]() ![]() ![]() Ripping down the wall where the sink used to be. ![]() Knob and tube! 1927 house anyone? ![]() Insulation ![]() ![]() ![]() While we were replacing the piping. ![]() Laying down the new subfloor. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I don't think I did too bad, but I was really pissed when I saw how far I was off. ![]() 2 to 4 inch pipe which will eventually collect the bathtub drain. ![]() We realize we're going to have to tear down that wall too. ![]() The new plumbing all set. ![]() ![]() ![]() Drywalling was fun at first... but... uh yeah it got really boring. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() After the water resistant board was glued on. ![]() Yeah, my dad accidently drilled all the way through and tore it. ![]() More Drywallin! ![]() ![]() All the sink and toilet inlets. ![]() ![]() After laying the linoleum. ![]() ![]() ![]() Onto other things. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I need to get some new pictures, I've mudded the drywall and I need to get to home depot to have them deliver 6-7 more 1/2" sheets to finish the bathroom and the downstairs wall I ripped out to replace the 4" drain pipe. |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | I just paid for the drywall and linoleum. My dad jumped into it and got the new cabinet, piping, toilet and fixtures. (I had been taking showers at his house the first month or so I lived here, and he got bored with my coming over I guess, so we got to work) Those copper fittings he welded together himself. He's pretty damn good, but thats what happens when you are an ex-plumber. He probably spent around 2 grand. We replaced all the plumbing from the 4" collector all the way up to the split offs for the tub toilet and sink. I spent less than 500. |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Looks great !! I think ceramic tile on the floor would have really set it off. For such a small area the price wouldnt dent the pockets to bad. Either way much improved. |

I need to get some water shelfs for it still. If I forget to push the curtain against the wall, it pours out.

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | I was curious does the house have all cpvc plumbing. Or thats what you used to reroute the location, then sweat the adapter on the copper . |
