Rep Power: 2 ![]() | What color is it? "Maple Wheat" is what it looks like on the box - is that a yellow/tan color? Also, whats the price they're giving you? 28 squares looks to be whats there...That should be more than enough for your job. My house alone is 26 squares ![]()

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | they are just going to slap up the foam panels ontop of the ceder siding I have now, and side over it. The original plan was to completly strip the house's existing siding, and then side it, but since the roof had went over budget, they are just going to do a cover job. and I think it would actually be nicer that way, since it will end up being double insulated.... and the whole project is creaping up to $30Ks.... ![]() but thats the windows, roof, gutters, siding, and sofets.....on the house, and siding and soffets on the shed and garage. ![]() |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | so its 30k for the siding job? damn. My job is coming in at ~700/sq. You're well over 1k/sq. I hope they are reflashing EVERYTHING... the roofing job was 11k? Is this all from the same contractor? Who is it? How many quotes did you get?

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | Just make sure there are no problems with the exisiting siding that is on there and that everything is clean & dry... Otherwise you can end up with mold, rot, etc... |

Rep Power: 10 ![]() | i don't know much, but i'm really not a fan of doing the over-lap. my grandfather did that.... and now, the underside needs to be painted, and the cedar are starting to rot and fall apart. i'd scrape it off and start fresh IMO
